Enjoying iPhone Pictures

We have all seen and admired the ease at which we can store and manage photos in
iPhone. But there is so much more we can do with it. We need to be able to see the
photos and admire it and Apple gave us the right tools to do so. Here are some ways
in which you can handle the collection of photos you have.

Viewing pictures: Flick left, flick right, flick left again and continue flicking. Thats
how easy it is to view the next or the previous picture in your collection. You could
also use the left and right arrows at the bottom to do this.

Landscape view or portrait view: This is iPhone at its best! Do you know how an
accelerometer works? Open a photo and tilt your iPhone sideways you see that in
action. You can orient the picture to view a landscape view or a portrait view just by
turning the iPhone sideways. Thats a lot of fun!

Zooming: You can double tap to make an image larger and double tap it again to
make it smaller. Another way of doing it is by pinching to make the image smaller
and un-pinching it to make the image larger.

Panning: You can just drag your finger across the surface of the iPhone to pan across
a picture. This is something that you will really enjoy when you want to see a part of
a picture in detail.

iPhone – Fre more tricks on typing faster

Few more tricks on typing faster

So it has been a tough time typing on the nasty iPhone keyboard. You might have read
articles on this website about how to use the keyboard in the iPhone more efficiently.
Here are a few advanted tips and tricks about your iPhone.

If you understand how the iPhone is managing your keyboard you will be amazed at the
technology used to make your life easy. Apple knows pretty well that your fingertips are
bigger than the keys they have provided. If you saw the size of the keys and started
typing with only the skinny tip of your finger, you will notice that it gets really hard to
type. What you should actually be doing is to use the whole pad of your fingertip. You
should notice that the accuracy of typing actually does not change if you use a larger
portion of your finger to tap the keys.

This is done using a very intelligent algorithm in the iPhone keypad. The areas allocated
for the keypad are dynamic. This means that the white key portion is not the only area
that is allocated to sense your key taps. The area spreads around to get adjusted to the
way you use the keypad. A larger area is allocated to the keys you use more often.

There is a lot of intelligence behind the Apple iPhone keypad. You should know these
well to get the maximum out of your iPhone.

Hunting YouTube videos

iPhone has an integrated YouTube application that lets you view videos directly
without bothering to go through safari. Here are some ways you can search for
videos on YouTube from among the millions of videos that are available. These
ofcourse are more of YouTube features but made more easily accessible by iPhone.

Featured: These are videos that are recommended by the YouTube staff.
Most viewed: This contains a list of the most popular videos seen on YouTube. Tap
this and you can see the list of YouTube blockbusters. You can sort them by current
day, current month or all time to check the videos in vogue.
Bookmarks: When you come across a video that you like, bookmark them. You will
be able to access all your bookmarked videos just by a tap if you do so.
Search: Select the search field on your iPhone and type in the name you want to
search for using the virtual keyboard. This is perhaps the best method to search for
videos on YouTube.
More: This only displays other buttons that were not fitting on the iPhone screen.
Most Recent: This displays a list of videos that were added recently.
Top Rated: YouTubers choice. This lists videos that are rated best by YouTubers.
History: Videos that you have recently viewed.

As the YouTube application can only display four buttons at a time you can select the
edit button (first tap more) the then just rearrange them as you like to use it.
