Caller ID management

Caller ID is a classic cell phone feature. This is the method through which the name or the number of the person calling you is displayed on your cell phone. This is a feature that has been under existence from the time cell phones have been in existence. But what is it about the iPhone that makes this special?

In iPhone, you can very easily hide your caller ID. This is a feature that may sometimes be misused, but Apple has made sure that it provides the iPhone users all the required features. Here is how you hide your caller ID:

* Press the home button to go to your home screen.
* Tap the phone button to see your phone preferences.
* Here you have an option called “My caller ID” under the calls section. Tap this to change your settings.
* Now you ca slide the switch either to your left or right to turn the caller ID feature on or off.

When your caller ID is turned off, the person receiving your call on the other end will either see nothing or will see a message that is something like “private number” or “no number” depending on the cell phone and the connection.

This such an old hat. I have been using this feature of blocking my Phone Caller ID when I feel like for last 6 years or so. first i used a nokia 3650 and then I have used a Nokia 6682. Both phones have this feature to block ones Caller ID. This feature works in a similar manner on the Iphone as well.
