Charging the iPhone

Your iPhone has an advanced battery inside it that takes up significant space inside. The
battery is an integral part of the iPhone and you need to keep it charged well. Most of the
applications on the iPhone sap quite a lot of power. If you use applications like safari
which uses 3G, then you will be draining out the battery very soon. On the other hand if
you only are using your iPhone to play songs, you will have a longer time to work with

Charging the iPhone

However you use the iPhone, you have to charge it regularly so that it contains enough
juice to keep the iPhone running. Generally you will have to recharge your iPhone at least
once every day. There are two ways of charging your iPhone.

Using the computers USB jack: You can use the power cable to connect the iPhone to
your Mac or PC to charge the iPhone. This is the same charger that you use to transfer
songs through iTunes. You might want to make sure that your desktop system or your
laptop does not go to sleep when you are charging your iPhone.

Though the AC charger: You can use the iPhones AC charger to connect directly to a
power outlet. This adapter is the little white cube with two prongs on it.
