Handling sync issues
Handling sync issues
One problem you might sometimes face with the iPhone is the problem of trying to sync it with the computer. Sometimes you may not be able to see the songs listed properly, or have trouble uploading songs. Usually you receive a message from iTunes that says there are sync issues between your iPhone and iTunes. Here are a few steps that might help you solve this problem:
* Recharge your iPhone: If you havent recharged your iPhone before, you should do it once to make sure everything is in sync. Once your iPhone is recharged, try to syc it with iTunes again.
* Use a different USB port. Sometimes it is your computer that is acting cranky. If you are having sync issues with one USB port, you should try another USB port. With extensive usage, your cables may go bad. So make sure that the cable is alright by testing it with a few different ports on different systems.
* Restart iPhone: The restart trick always seems to work! When nothing works, restarting your iPhone usually does the magic.
* Restart your computer: If you are using a Windows/Mac system, and you are having the same problem with different iPhones/iPods, you should probably restart your system and check if it solves the problem
* Reinstall iTunes: If nothing works you should probably reinstall iTunes.
