iPhone – Calls On Ani Phone
Making calls on an iPhone
When you are on a call on your iPhone, there are many things you can do. iPhone
marvels at multitasking. For the first thing you can tap the home button while on a
call to access any other application that is there on your iPhone. You should also
know that you can surf the web while you are talking only if you are using a WiFi.
This is not possible with the EDGE network. Here are the main options you have
while you are on a call:
Mute a call: This button allows you to mute the microphone so that you can say
something that the other person can’t hear. This is very useful when you have to
mutter something under your breath when the caller ticks you off. You can tap un-
mute to resume the normal conversation.
Contacts: You can use this to browse through your contacts list. You can just view
them or call them by putting the current call under hold.
Hold: This just allows you to place a call on hold. You can use this feature to call
another person or to answer another call. If you get a different call while you are
talking, iPhone displays a separate screen with options to answer the incoming call or
to ignore it. These options pretty much take care of muting for you.
Keypad: This brings the keypad back on. Useful when you are calling the customer
care to type in the options to reach the proper support person.
Using the speaker phone: This lets you listen to the call through the loud speaker.
You might try to hold the lower end of the iPhone facing towards you if you want to
hear them louder.
Add: This lets you add another user to the current conversation. This is useful to
make conference calls.
