Restoring the home screen
You might have read an article on this site about how to rearrange the icons on your
iPhone home screen. All you had to do to change the icons on the home screen was to tap
and hold one icon till they started shaking. You could move and rearrange the shaking
icons to set the screen the way you wanted. Now if you messed your home screen a lot
and you want to get it back to the way it was when you first bought your iPhone, you
could always do that through the following steps:
Press the home button to go to the home screen
Tap the settings button to go to the iPhone settings screen.
Here tap the �general� button to select the general iPhone settings. These are the settings
that apply to the general iphone application.
Here a �Reset� option is available that can be used to reset changes that you have made to
your iPhone.
Select the �Reset home screen layout� button to reset the home screen.
This will be useful if you messed up your home screen or if you want to reset your icons
on the home screen. The home screen is probably the most useful screen on the iPhone.
You should utilize it well by keeping a shortcut to normally used applications on this.
