iPhone – Self potraits on iPhone

Self portraits on an apple iPhone

If you own a cell phone with a camera, one of the first things you would probably do is to
take a picture of yourself. (Yes, we know you are a show off). With the apple iPhone this
can be somewhat tricky, while at the same time, this can be somewhat very simple.

The Apple iPhone has an amazing 2 mega pixel camera that takes photos of amazing
quality. It might have its own little drawbacks when it comes to zooming and capturing
dim lit scenes. But, this is a very minor problem compared to the quality of the iPhone
pictures.

Another thing that most cell phones have and iPhone doesnt is a small reflective surface
beside the camera where you can see yourself to snap a good picture. Some people try to
use the shiny apple logo on the back of the iPhone as a compensation for this. This may
not be a very good idea. You should probably only use this for checking if your nostril is
clear. What you can do is probably use the shiny back surface of the iPhone as a reflector
to see what the camera might be seeing.

Also make sure you are sitting still in a well lit place. We know you want your photos to
come out good. When you tap the click button, stay still for two more seconds till the
animated shutter opens up. Now you have a nice snap of yourself. Go use it on your
MySpace / Facebook / Orkut.
