The amazing 2 mega pixel camera
You would have heard of the cameras being sold like turkeys on thanks giving based
on their mega pixel number. People seem to like the product better if it has a bigger
value for its ‘mega pixel’. Our iPhone has a 2 mega pixel camera. Does this mean the
photos taken form iPhone are inferior compared to other cameras? No!
The quality of a picture depends on several features. This includes the lens and
shutter lag. The mega pixel value is useful only if you are planning to get the photo
developed into a real photo you can frame, and most importantly, and blow it up to a
size as big as the wall in your living room. The mega pixel rating only tells you that
the photos will have a very high resolution, hence making it optimal for really large
pictures.
For a camera phone, 2 mega pixels is a fairly decent resolution. This will be good
enough to develop farmable photos 4″ x 6″ in size. If you just want to keep a digital
copy of the photo, this camera will just do fine. Its 480 x 320 pixel resolution is just
enough to show off your pictures among friends and family.
